A new view might be just what is needed in Gun Control.
It for sure isn't going to make anything worse it might even make it better.
The new gun for law enforcement is concept, but it is also
concept created with some detailing. You may know something about the
maintaining a patent protection, in this case it may not be the most important thing.
The idea may be more important. Beyond that it is getting the idea on track, and doing with it
what is suppose to be done with a good idea.
One of the details is "fire activation", that unfortunately is what a gun in law enforcement is about.
So the keen armed law enforcement servant needs a state of the art weapon that does not hinder his defense capabilities.
However we like to think that a life can be spared, while still in self defense mode.
The trigger mechanism allows the shooter to squeeze the initial ready to fire, the squeeze length is calculated by a time line that if crossed will fire the lethal bullet, . .
but if he releases the squeeze pressure before the time line and reapplies the squeeze to the trigger the munition then is a non -lethal one.
This may seem a little tricky but be assured that a well trained man will rapidly accustom
his ability to second nature.
In this way his first concern in the line of defense has a miniscule change or effect on
his ability.
The mechanical actions after the squeeze is an R&D technology that will succeed only with a virtual
zero tolerance for error.
Sort of like landing a jet plane. The manufacturer is trained to make it work, the pilot
is trained to make it work and so, . it does.
